The Derek and Romaine Show this Thursday night!

This Thursday night at 8:15PM I will be on Sirius Out Q with The Derek and Romaine Show promoting my book. Now if you know me than you know that I briefly dated Romaine back in the day before she was all famous and shit. So tune in as this could be a very interesting interview that has zero to do with the book! I haven’t chatted with Romaine in a couple years now so we have a lot of catching up to do. Don’t miss what will surely be an interview of hilarity and absurdity as we reunite over the airwaves.

If you don’t have Sirius Radio click here for a free trial http://www.siriusoutq.com/

and listen to my interview. If you do turn your dial to Channel 109 and have a listen!

You can call in and ask questions also 1-866-305-6887 or HOTLINE 1-877-33SIRIUS (74748)

A Seed Planter

Having an active addict in your life is probably one of the most excruciatingly painful experiences a person can have. The word powerless cannot even begin to capture the utter devastation, hopelessness and futility one can feel while being in the presence of an active addict. It is gut-wrenching and heart-breaking to watch someone you care about make all the wrong decisions.

Almost every time I travel and speak with my new book, Blackout Girl: Growing Up and Drying Out in America, inevitably the question comes up “How can I help an active addict?” I see the…

Rosie O’Donnell bought my book!

OMG! So I have been emailing/stalking Rosie O’Donnell now for like a month or so. I don’t really think it can be considered stalking since it’s an option on her webpage, but nonetheless!

She has a great webpage, www.rosie.com where she posts video, blogs and has a great interactive question and answer portion. She actually answers fans questions—which just this fact alone–makes her rock in my opinion!!!

Veggie delight in Philly and Miley Cyrus

I have returned from my travels in Philadelphia. It was a great trip and I must say that I think I single handedly revitalized the city’s economy. Seriously, the mayor should give me like a certificate or something. I went a little crazy but it was way fun! I miss the big city environment if not simply for the wonderful vegetarian and vegan options at so many restaurants. I can actually walk into most trendy little places and find multiple options for my little veggie palate! Not so much in central PA….the options are pasta or salad. Seriously, can I get some tofu please!! I had….drum roll please….Tofu BBQ Wings that were to die for at this little place called The Belgium Café on 21st and Green Street, if you are ever in Philly, I highly recommend this place it was awesome!
