CENTRAL RECOVERY PRESS WILL HOST IN BOOTH PRESS CONFERENCE AT BOOK EXPO AMERICA AT BOOTH #3830
Jennifer Storm, Executive Director of the Victim/Witness Assistance Program in Harrisburg, PA and an outspoken critic of the manner in which the Sandusky sexual abuse case has been handled, has written an e-book on the topic: ECHOES OF PENN STATE: Facing Sexual Trauma (Central Recovery Press / CRP Edition / E-Book / ISBN: 978-1-937612-35-1 / $1.99 / June 2012). Storm’s publisher, Central Recovery Press, will hold a press conference for Ms. Storm in their booth # 3830 on Tuesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. to discuss the book and issues surrounding the Sandusky molestation trial that begins June 15th.
Mixing elements of her own story of victimization as a pre-teen along with a stunning critique of the Sandusky case, Jennifer has created a document that is required reading for anyone trying to find answers in this unfolding tragedy.
With Echoes, Ms. Storm offers tools for recovery to help other abuse victims understand what they are going through, both emotionally and spiritually. Elsewhere, she provides a well-researched examination of victim’s rights, from reporting the crime, through protecting anonymity during trial. A listing of online resources completes this powerful e-book from an advocate who knows what’s at stake and has created an important work that speaks to sexual assault victims and their loved ones.
