What we must do with our Anger—so we can actually take Action.

n headline after headline, another unarmed black man is shot dead. The body of another transgender black woman is pulled from the river, an innocent child is targeted in the crosshairs and killed, motherless, childless, hopeless—it makes me so mad. I can no longer push down the horror, the pain, of these injustices. In my past life, I would just have dove into a bottle or a pipe to deal with the overwhelming emotions. Why Monday matters not only for Sandusky’s victims, but to all victims.

On Monday morning in the Dauphin County Courthouse three Penn State top ranking officials will be in court for their preliminary hearing on charges of failure to report child abuse and perjury.  As of now, Jerry Sandusky has been convicted on 45 of the original 48 charges of  sexual assault because the victims in this case took the stand to testify about what Sandusky did to them… Read On
